Heavy and Hazardous Drinking Leads to Serious Health Difficulties
For quite a few years the alcohol dependency research literature has revealed that alcohol addiction and dangerous health conditions are highly associated. For instance, a U.S. scientific investigation performed in 2005 demonstrated that alcohol abuse and alcohol dependency cost the United States approximately $220 billion on an annual basis. It can be underlined that these alcohol-related costs were considerably more than the cost linked with obesity ($133 billion) or with cancer ($196 billion).
